The Seven Deadly Sins Tamed

In the formative days of the research group evolution is energy™ one of our quests was the discovery of the genetic foundation for the "Seven Deadly Sins", and we are thrilled to announce that we've fulfilled that goal!

Over the years we have located the genetic source for Anger, Lust, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth and now with the recent discovery of Pride and Greed the search is complete.

This breakthrough is invaluable, making it possible to identify and, if one wishes, annihilate any one or all of these traits. However, complete erasure is rarely healthy to the whole person, so we've developed control techniques that allow us to "dial-down" or "turn-up" intensities. For example, if arrogance is problematic then we can lower the maximum possible Pride level so that the behaviour always stays within desired bounds.

We'll celebrate this milestone with a special event at Founders Lake Park on June 10th. There will be rides, games, music, fireworks, exciting new food treats and a special surprise announcement at sundown.

  1. I find this quite blasphemous. Are they saying that we have no control over our own actions? True or not, the idea that these sins are coded into our DNA is offensive: G-D created us as good beings.

  2. I believe, Jonah Sidel, that you have missed the point of the artical. The artical is not really new it is just worded differently. All that he is saying is that we should live in God's graces. God sacrificed His Son so that we could be free from bondage -- but free to be human.

  3. In my 25 years as as ordained minister and an elected county sheriff i have learned that when it come to managing evil : if it works - use it. The nature of free will and religious partisanship can be debated later !

    i am curious:
1- are there any risk factors or side effects of sin reduction therapy ?
2- is it available to the guests of BL residents ?

  4. These breakthroughs are all very interesting. I am also a devoted Christian, and I agree with Dr. Chas Minkman. God did create us as perfect human beings, and though we choose sin, I see nothing wrong with striving to find ways to keep us from choosing sin again and again. Many people choose to do that through ministry, which I still believe is most effective, but this is a new way to put other talents to use for the Lord.

While every one of the beautifuliving™ features I have read about -- AppleDelight™, the biotiles, etc -- seem fantastic and wonderful, I would like to learn more about the community and do not even know its physical location. If anyone has seen that old Disney Channel movie, Smart House, it definitely reminds me of that! Can somebody help me with this? My mum and daddy aren't even sure of its existence because of all of the incredible science involved!

    Thank you in advance!

  5. Perhaps I was too hasty in judging the motives of beautifuliving. I am in agreement that any tools that can diminish unwarranted pain and suffering in the world should be put to use.

If they can control these 'sins' why not other sins. Would a vaccine that prevented people from developing into evil-doer's be a bad thing? I'm all for free will but free will for 'defective' souls who kill and wreck havoc in the world amongst the innocents is intolerable. Even those that have 'seen the light' afterwards still have done too much damage.

Vaccinate everyone, I say. Then, ministry can still do it's work: for the path to the lord is as important as the finding. But at what cost?

  6. To adress Dr. Minkman's questions:

    1. Q: Are there any risk factors or side effects of sin reduction therapy ?

A: There are no medical risks involved in this therapy. It is important to note that aside from medical screening, we do extensive psychological and genetic screening before planning and beginning therapy. Fortunately, this asks very little time from our residents.

    2. Q: Is it available to the guests of BL residents ?

A: We're working on it! At the moment there are legalities that prevent us from administering therapies to individuals from outside of the beautifuliving™ community. We hope to have this worked out soon so that everyone will have the opportunity to benefit from our science.

  7. On the subject of sin reduction therapy being available to those who are not residents of beautifuliving, are any other features of the community (biotiles, AppleDelight, etc.) available to those who do not or cannot reside in the BL community?

  8. In regards to the question of the availability of beautifuliving™ innovations to those outside of the community:

At the moment these amenities are not available outside of the community:

    1. Our manufacturing and distribution is rather humble in scale. We presently cannot produce enough product for general public distribution. Outsourcing production for certain products is a possibility that we are looking into, however, our standards are rather high in both quality and eco-friendliness of the processes.

    2. Due to the uniqueness and the biological and physiological interactions of many of our products*, it is a slow and often political process to gain approval from various government agencies.

*We should note, however, that the beautifuliving™ lifestyle is the sum of very precise and integrated technologies and therapies. We would only distribute to the general public technologies that could stand-alone without the need for complimentary technologies.

For instance, bioTiles™ are a very good candidate for a stand-alone product while beautifulDreamer™ pillows are integrated with other personal therapies and not likely to be released for general distribution.

  9. I hope this is some sort of program for screening (and subsequently eliminating) folks with IQs lower than 80 or so? For example, somebody calls and orders this, and the "IQ Sanitation Team" takes their data, apprehends them and takes them to the "Slow Camp" forever? Can you please tell me has anybody paid for this? I'd love to know!

  11. Is this real or just satirical? I was pretty sure it was, but everyone else is taking it so seriously.

  12. I am a Registered nurse, fighting the 7 deadly sins all my life, and could not agree more, the sin of our ancestors are in our DNA, getting to know my past, I can work in the present to prevent repeat story on the future.
So the buck stops here, I must conquer my land to live a clean one for my children's children.
I prayed for my ancestors, and I see how I am being liberated from my sins, by grace.
The seven deadly sins, have many faces, and some of them seemm pretty innocent.
Get to know yourself and you will know God.

  13. TheGreenAstro, I agree with you... I don't see how this can be anything but satirical. I've looked over the "beautifuliving" website and there's no way this can be real. Microscopic robots that clean your kitchen and bathroom for you? somehow this does not seem believable.
